Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric, and salt to make the marinade.
  2. Add paneer cubes to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or a pan over medium-high heat. Lightly brush with oil and grill the marinated paneer pieces until they are lightly charred on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In a large pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  5. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  6. Stir in the tomato puree, coriander powder, and Kashmiri chili powder. Cook for about 10-12 minutes until the oil separates from the tomato mixture.
  7. Add grilled paneer to the sauce and pour in the heavy cream. Gently mix to combine and simmer for another 8-10 minutes.
  8. Add kasuri methi by crushing it between your palms for enhanced flavor. Adjust salt to taste.
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
